Why the very first appointment might just be the most important one?
A consultations isn't a formality, it's where we start to build your results. Before any pigment touches the skin we discuss your goals, expectations and answer any questions you might have. We also assess your skin tone and brow shape as well as choose the best technique for you and your lifestyle.
Why it matters?
No two clients ever get the same exact brow color and design.
Consultations help us analyze:
Your skin tone and undertone (to ensure that the pigment heals true to color)
Bone structure (resolving any asymmetry issues)
Hair growth pattern (to compliment your natural flow and density)
Lifestyle and beauty habits (so your results help you simplify your daily routine)
This initial assessment helps us avoid common issues like unwanted shape, intensity or color. The goal is always soft and natural looking permanent make up that lasts beautifully for years.
All consultations are in person and take place at Blush Permanent Make Up in Acworth, GA, and typically last about 20–30 minutes. Our studio is conveniently located in the heart of Cobb County, just a short drive away from Kennesaw, Marietta and Woodstock, GA.
We believe this time is essential, not only for you to fully understand our process, but also for us to get to know you. Every client’s skin, lifestyle, and health history are unique, and your results depend on how we tailor your procedure accordingly.
During your consultation, we’ll review your medical history, since certain conditions or medications can influence how your permanent makeup heals. While most clients are eligible to begin their treatment right away, others may need to wait for medical clearance or to complete a specific prescription before proceeding.
These careful considerations are what ensure both your safety and the longevity of your results, because beautiful work always starts with a healthy foundation.
Lastly we have an opportunity to show you what your brows could look like by mapping you out right there in our studio. We also briefly go over some color preferences that best match your skin tone.
Below is an example of our client. We discussed her options and showed her what her brows could look like applying the nano brow technique (on the left) and powder brow technique (on the right).
Our client originally wanted powder brows, but after learning about the differences between the two styles, she appreciated the flow of hair strokes and how they complemented her natural features, leading her to choose nano brows. She also mentioned her preference for dark blond brow color (mapping during consultations is always done with a black pencil, and the pigment color becomes visible on the skin only after the first tattoo session).
